Stephanie and Travis’ wedding marked my first of the 2012 season, and it was truly a fantastic initiation. The weather was perfect, I got to shoot at one of my favourite venues, and, despite not knowing anyone in the wedding party, I felt extremely welcome and at home. What more can a girl ask for?
Thank you so much, Stephanie, Travis, and company! I had a great day, and I look forward to getting your photographs to you soon. In the meantime, here’s a small preview.
It’s hard to believe that this was Edmonton, less than three weeks ago! Enjoy the latest engagement session that I have to share with you. Leyanna and Franco, thanks so much, again, for being such a fantastic couple to work with.
I had the honour of taking some family portraits for the Evans last month, in order to commemorate Bea - their beautiful new family member. Thanks so much, Evans, for such a lovely afternoon. I really enjoyed getting to know you.
As a final note: I do not think I have ever seen a more excited older sister. They were inseperable. :)
The enormous snowfall we received this weekend made for a very beautiful engagement shoot today. Thanks so much, Leyanna and Franco, for being adventurous and wading through some rather cold places. I’m really looking forward to celebrating your marriage with you in June.
I just spent a few days on Vancouver Island in order to visit some dear friends and surround myself by the ocean and green things. Here’s what I captured and edited using my iPhone 4. Happy Wednesday, everyone.
A few days ago, as previously referred to in my last post, I was able to take engagement photos for two new friends of mine: Lisa and Dave. Despite the cold weather, we managed to have a very pleasant time, and these two brave souls even insisted on taking off their winterwear for a few photos. As a result, I think our two locations contrasted rather nicely! Thanks so much, again, Lisa and Dave. A huge congratulations, and I look forward to documenting your wedding in the spring
I sincerely hope everyone has been having a wonderful weekend. :) Thank you, as always, for your kind FB and blog comments. They mean a great deal. Best,
When I first met with Lisa and Dave over a coffee a few weeks ago, I left feeling as though I’d known them for a long time. Their easy-going and kind-hearted demeanours made my engagement shoot with them this afternoon a truly enjoyable time, despite the less than welcome temperature outside. I’m very much looking forward to shooting their wedding this May. Thank you so much, Lisa and Dave! Here are a couple of teasers, for now.
I’m very pleased to be able to share Tiffany and James’ creative, detail-perfect autumn wedding with you today. It was certainly a huge favourite of mine and an absolute delight to shoot. :) If you know me well, you’ll understand why I immediately loved the aesthetic of this day. Feel free to read a little more about this wonderful wedding and the fantastic couple behind it in my initial post. Happy Wednesday, everyone.
P.S. Friends: feel free to use these as profile pictures, but if you wouldn’t mind giving me a little photo credit somewhere, that’d be very appreciated. xx
In December, I had the pleasure of photographing some lovely lady friends of mine, as they wanted to surprise their mom with some new portraits for Christmas. (How sweet is that)? We had a wonderful afternoon together, and I am so grateful I got to take these for them. :)
Make sure to check in over the weekend, as I will be posting some highlights of 2011. (If I can possibly narrow them down. I am realizing just how much I actually did this year, and how many amazing individuals I got to work with). Many thanks,
I recently traveled to Vancouver for a few days, and was able to reconnect with a long-time friend while I was there to take some headshots for her. It’s always such a treat to shoot in a new landscape, and Stanley Park certainly provided a beautiful backdrop. Today, meet the sweet Danielle.
I asked Danielle to grab a snap of me on the beach, too. :) Thanks for a great evening, Danielle!
